Vintage has finished. What does that mean. The end of vintage means that we have finished picking all the grapes and they have been
turned into wine stop the wine has been processed through Bertha the pot still into low wines.
The low ones are returned to the wood fired still and processed again to produce 70% alcohol by volume product. The French call
this is Eau de Vie. The last run was performed last week.
Our next Brandy eve will be the last Thursday in May from 7pm-8.30pm and on Saturday
from 4-5.30pm! Duncan will discuss with attendees about distilling brandy, eau de vie and vodka. Watch the
still in action! Tastings will be included and all questions on organic distillation answered. Book now
by contacting us by email. Spirit tastings with matching nibbles will be included.
Harris Organic was featured in the West Australian Organic News. Many thanks to Louise FitzRoy for writing the article.
